SARAH PROFFITT, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT
Sarah recently joined the foundation staff in 2023. She went to school in hopes of being an elementary school teacher but the Lord led her to Triad Pediatrics where she joined the team in 2018. Sarah has been a part of 9 different short term missions teams and has a big passion for helping others. She helped lead the team that went to Eagle's Nest Children's Home in 2022 and looks forward to going back again! From week to week Sarah assists with communication, event planning, fundraising, and any general operational needs for the foundation. She is excited for her role here and hopefully helping the foundation make an impact both locally and globally.
Board of Directors
THOMAS DILLARD, MD
For the last decade, Dr. Dillard and his wife, Emily, have called the Triad their home. The Dillards stay quite busy chasing their 6 children around while attempting to homeschool them. Prior to joining Triad Pediatrics in 2018, Tom’s calling to minister to the sick and hurting children of the world led him to serve as a missionary Pediatrician at Tenwek Hospital in southwestern Kenya. Triad Pediatrics is an extension of Tom’s desire to be involved in global missions and to serve families both in High Point as well as in Kenya. Tom and Emily are active members of Westover Church in Greensboro.
Currently, Dr. Dillard and his family are serving at Tenwek Mission Hospital in Kenya. He is still actively involved in the leadership and direction of Triad Pediatrics and Triad Pediatrics Foundation. They appreciate your prayers for them during this time of service in Kenya.
HEATHER MARTIN, PA-C
Heather and her husband, Tim, reside in High Point. They have two children. Heather served as a Registered Dietitian in adult cardiology and later in Pediatric Endocrinology. She has practiced in pediatrics since completing Physician Assistant studies in 2007. Heather is excited about the vision of Triad Pediatrics and the Triad Pediatrics Foundation. As a provider, Heather helped lead a small team to serve at Eagle's Nest in Guatemala in November of 2022. She and her husband Tim are active members of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.
CHAD COOKE, PHD
Dr. Cooke and his wife, Holly, returned to the Triad region in the spring of 2011. They are blessed with three active boys and twin girls. Dr. Cooke completed doctoral studies in psychology and counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is licensed as a clinical mental health counselor and serves as the practice administrator at Triad Pediatrics. Currently he and his family are active members at King’s Cross Church in Greensboro.

Dr. Isenhour joined the team of providers at Triad Pediatrics in August of 2020. She completed medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky and most recently a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Isenhour is a board-certified pediatrician and has also obtained board certification in pediatric sports medicine. Dr. Isenhour has served on numerous short term mission trips and looks forward to further opportunities providing medical care overseas.
JESSICA VANDEVEN, PA-C
Jessica and her husband, Jeff, are recent transplants to Greensboro. They come to us from Greensburg, PA outside of Pittsburgh, where Jessica practiced as a pediatric physician assistant, as well as a certified lactation consultant. She and Jeff have five children and are very active in their church Lebanon Baptist. Jessica is very excited to use her experience in medicine, as well as her love for Christ to minister to and care for the patients of Triad Pediatrics and the surrounding community. She was a provider on our team that went to Guatemala in 2022 and hopes to be a part of more in the future.
